Gas exchange

In a simple way, we can summarize hematosis in the movement of gases between blood capillaries and alveoli, through diffusion. This means that there will be a movement of gases between the alveolus and a blood capillary, with oxygen going into the blood, and carbon dioxide going into the alveolus.
